Over the last eight months, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has been engulfed in a sex scandal he had allegedly paid for sex with a minor.
He is currently on trial in Milan for allegedly paying for sex with 17 years of Moroccan belly dancer Karima El Mahroug, known as "Ruby heart thieves."

He is charged with abuse of power because prosecutors said he called the station - where he was arrested on suspicion of theft - have him released.

In the same year, Patrizia D'Addario alleged she and other girls who are paid to attend a party at the residence of Berlusconi. Berlusconi denies the claim, said the weekly magazine Chi: "I never understood where the satisfaction is when you lose the pleasure of conquest."
Soon after the scandal broke Ruby IN 2010, he said at a public event: "It is better to be liked pretty girls than to be gay."
Ruby has denied having sex with the Prime Minister. Both admitted that he gave him money, even though they say it is an act of kindness to help a young girl.
In their 389 page document filed in court, prosecutors accuse Berlusconi paid Ruby, and dozens of other young women, to take part in the "interest rate party" held in Berlusconi's private residence.
Using what they say is a young female telephone interceptions as evidence, prosecutors said women do stripteases and erotic acts in exchange for cash and prizes. Berlusconi said the parties were regular dinner meetings, and that there were no mistakes.

Dentico believe that Berlusconi has won the Italian tolerance through the influence of his media empire through which he has managed to "prepare the ground before coming to power."
"He is an excellent communicator and a good seller," he said. He said he was formerly one of Italy tolerant lot, but things began to change when the scandal first broke with Noemi.
"As a woman, and as the mother of a teenage girl, I started to panic, thinking, is this way 'Papi' to decide who get into television, and who went into politics?"
Dentico said many girls want to emulate the model projected by Berlusconi's TV channels, which promotes the idea that stereotypes of young women as dancers and female TV show, known in Italy as "veline."

But both Nicoletta and Fagioli psychiatrist thinks the tide began to turn against Berlusconi and Italy experienced a slowdown wake of "Cosi fan tutti," (so do not all behave) tolerance.

Berlusconi recently suffered a second defeat of politics in local elections, where it lost its political core of the city of Milan, and in a national referendum, in which he lost his bid for the privatization of water administration, re-introduction of nuclear energy and immunity test for the government officials - including Prime Minister .
But it remains unclear whether this recent turn of events is linked to government policy, or speculation about the prime minister's personal habits and "Ruby the thief of hearts" scandal.
